We are looking for an experienced compliance professional to support our global Fabrics business. The location for this position is Newark, DE.. In this role, you will support the Fabrics Division compliance program and the Fabrics business team, aligned to our broader Enterprise Compliance Program. You will work to develop and manage day to day activities of and administer the Fabrics Division compliance program and collaborate with other Global Enterprise Compliance Associates. You will work closely and partner with the Fabrics Division Global Compliance Leader to mitigate divisional compliance risks, help the business implement compliance activities and assure that compliance and ethics positions and strategies are coordinated and consistent with legal and compliance advice.. You will be a trusted partner working collaboratively with the Global Fabrics Compliance Leader to drive initiatives, provide advice and input on compliance activities and lead projects as necessary to support the Fabrics business. Key responsibilities include leading or assisting in the development of policies, procedures and processes, developing and delivering business specific training modules with inputs from Legal and other functional partners, designing and implementing risk mitigation activities, providing project management for risk mitigation and corrective action initiatives, establishing divisional record keeping, documentation and other protocols necessary to an effective compliance program, and monitoring activities to assure compliance with laws, industry regulations and internal policies.. Responsibilities include:. In partnership with the Fabrics Compliance Leader, managing the day to day operations of the Fabrics Division Compliance , including due diligence processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and risk identification and mitigation activities. Providing direction and guidance as an expert consultant to Fabrics Associates to ensure appropriate policies, procedures, processes and controls are followed to facilitate compliance with applicable laws and regulations and to mitigate identified risk areas. Developing or assisting in implementing compliance-related policies, procedures and processes. Developing and conducting training that is specifically tailored to business activities and compliance risks for the Fabrics Division.. Working closely with business and sales associates globally particularly in activities involving sales to government entities. Maintaining current knowledge of global compliance best practices, recent enforcement activities and information published by applicable government agencies. Supporting Enterprise compliance training initiatives for Fabrics Associates on key risk areas, such as anti-bribery compliance. Continually advancing the knowledge of the business related to compliance and ethics. Partnering with or assisting Enterprise Compliance Associates with special projects as needed. Working with the Global Fabrics Compliance Leader and the Enterprise team to develop and implement internal controls that impact the Fabrics Division. As needed, participating in or leading internal investigations. Providing input and advice on all aspects of the Fabrics Compliance Program. Qualifications. Required Job Qualifications :. Bachelors' degree. Minimum 5 years of experience handling compliance issues for a global company working with business activities outside of the US subject to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and UK Bribery Act. Familiarity with international ethical standards and industry best practices related to bribery law compliance. Demonstrated expertise in implementing compliance oversight activities and processes in an international environment. Demonstrated experience handling multiple projects and bringing them to conclusion in a timely fashion. Experience and ability discussing controversial topics with stakeholders. Ability to work across cultures at all levels and functions of the organization and its external partners. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time. Desired Job Qualifications:. Master's, Juris Doctor or other Post Graduate Degree.
