The key areas of responsibility are: A sales specialist role, responsible for utilizing a pre and post sales model to identify the right offerings that may drive sales and increase customer retention. Advises and consults with customer and sales team to determine product needs. To deliver the value of the whole firm to our customers by providing specialized solutions to customer business workflow challenges in order to gain new business, win market share and increase customer satisfaction.

Accountabilities:

Acts as a 'subject matter expert' of product/service or technology, and owns this role in the overall sales process. Participates in pre-sales calls, delivers customized presentations (in person or via Web), and contributes to written proposals. Communicates with customers both in person and over the phone to provide best-practice consulting support to existing products / services and gain a strong understanding of their business and how business products / services can add value. Develops a clear approach for meeting customer requirements and/or demonstrate this approach successfully to the client and resolve customer's concerns. Assists Sales team in winning the opportunities through business and technology expertise as well as product knowledge. Can be required to deliver requirements analysis and solution specification documentation. Provides consultation on product and/or technical information and direct resolution of complex or unique technical issues.

Key Deliverables:

Partners with the Sales team to drive new sales/ revenue and client retention utilizing business knowledge and to conceive and position value-added solutions to promote business growth in the firm and to lift sales. Provides account relationship support through life cycle on product and/or technical need. Provide internal expertise through information sharing/training to other sales professionals on specific product and/or technical area. Identifies up-selling/cross-selling opportunities across the business. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customer proposition, sales and account management, marketing and product development. Skills and Experience: Exhibits in-depth and comprehensive product knowledge of products and/or services. Fully competent in all areas of business operations. Experience with business processes. Working knowledge of selling methodology processes and procedures. Strong customer service skills. Experience with pre and post sales delivery preferred. Proficiency in presentations to all levels of staff and management, internally and externally. Demonstrated ability to present technical concepts in clear manner to customers through demos and proposals. Excellent writing, editing and communications skills are required. Task oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, changing environment. Ability to work accurately and efficiently in order to meet deadlines.
