SunRay s Legal Assistant/Paralegal is responsible for a variety of important tasks including reading statutes, drafting documents and letters, and conducting legal research (online public records in county Recorder s and Property Appraiser s Office). In addition, the candidate will also have the opportunity to assist with writing content and articles for our website and marketing materials. The candidate will aim to offer the best customer service and support to SunRay s Customers.

Job Requirements:


BA/BS degree or equivalent

3-5 years of legal or paralegal experience in-house or in a law firm Construction Law strongly preferred.

Transactional or litigation paralegal experience required.

Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload involving multi-tasking, responsibilities and deadlines with a proactive attitude and minimal supervision under pressure

Proficient in E-recording documents, navigating and researching online public records.

Ability to effectively communicate on verification telephone calls.

Highest commitment to customer service, development, and satisfaction

Self-motivated, strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative and work independently.

Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and comprehension)

Strong computer skills; MS Office, Outlook and Internet search engines

Analytical and critical thinker (think outside the box)

Required language: English, Spanish PREFERRED
