Manager, Ethics & Compliance (must have extensive CPT knowledge) Full-time Mid-Level Hospital/Health Care Requirements CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS MUST-HAVES Bachelors Degree and CPC or CCS-P Certification 10 years professional CPT expertise (physician and APP) 10 years Coding & Billing experience Previous Management experience Excellent communication and critical thinking skills NICE-TO-HAVES Experience auditing for acccuracy in in professional coding and billing Compliance experience Advanced Degree ROLE DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES This position is responsible for performing, leading, and managing the Ethics and Compliance (ECO) Work Plan billing related audits and the ECO Audit Plan to ensure our client and its associates are in compliance with federal, state, laws, rules, and guidelines, as well as our client policies. Candidates must have expertise in professional services documentation, CPT coding, and billing. Candidates should have auditing experience as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws and is expected to mentor and develop staff accordingly. Responsibilities include among other things: (1) interviewing, hiring, training, and managing employees (2) planning, assigning, and directing work (3) appraising performance (4) addressing complaints and resolving problems Candidates should thrive in a fast paced environment and are expected to participate in ECO activities such as the annual ECO Risk Assessment and ongoing investigations.
