WhatYou’ll Get to Do:

Workingwith team you will help manage the contract change process through proposaldevelopment. You will provide leadership and guidance throughout thenegotiation process with an eye on mitigating risk. You will resolve questionson contractual requirements and interpretation. You will monitor contracts forcompliance while protecting the contract baseline from scope creep.

Rolesand Responsibilities include:

-Conduct change proposal preparation activities in accordance with companypolicies and customer specifications. Evaluate changes and their immediate andpotential impacts.

-Analyze and identify risks and develop risk avoidance strategies in order tomaximize profit and minimize investment.

-Conduct reviews on all relevant terms and conditions and their impacts to thebusiness strategy. Identify flow-down requirements to all appropriateorganizations.

-Negotiate profit and provide profit justification to the customer, ensuringthat the profit is consistent with and appropriate for the contract type andidentified program risks.

-Utilize knowledge of FAR, DFARS and other customer-specific regulations andprovide advice on their applicability and impact.

-Verify with Program Manager that all technical requirements have been properlyreviewed and a clear technical baseline is included in contract documents.

-Following contract award, communicate the contract schedule and scoperequirements to program team.

-Monitor contract cost performance in concert with Program Business Managementand Finance.

-Work with key stakeholders for contract close-out activities.

-Prior experience with various contract types such as Cost types, Firm FixedPrice, etc.

-Strong problem solving skills and the ability to be flexible and changedirections when needed.

-Ability to work independently and make independent decisions, ensuring highlevels of collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field of study with at least 10 years of Contract Administration experience or a Master's Degree with 8 years of experience.

Hands on knowledge of FAR, DFARS

Preferred Qualifications:

- NCMA or Contract Management certification

Current Secret Clearance updated within the last 5 years.
