JOB SUMMARY: This new role provides an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to support firm leadership including the Chair, Managing Partner, Policy Committee, COO, SLT and other leaders by facilitating day-to-day activities and longer-term projects. The position calls for strong project management and organizational skills and a high degree of discretion and judgment.This role will support firm leadership in strategic and operational initiatives, internal and external client service, presentations and daily communication. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Support firm leadership Ensure accurate and timely communication of information to and from the Chair, Managing Partner, COO and other leaders; support the communication cascade, exercising excellent judgment, discretion and emotional intelligence while understanding, escalating and resolving matters Partner with leaders, attorneys and cross-functional teams across the organization on strategic projects and initiatives, prepare briefings & analyses \"Look around corners\" to ensure leaders have relevant materials for upcoming meetings, events, trips, etc. well in advance Support successful, efficient meetings: develop agendas, prepare materials, document and circulate notes and follow up on action items Serve as a liaison between various groups of firm leaders regarding strategic initiatives, open projects, firm communications and events Execute special projects Support and/or lead distinct initiatives commissioned by firm leadership, selectively serving as project manager or execution team member Conduct research and data analysis, help define projects, meet with stakeholders, analyze cost, coordinate participants, monitor milestones, ensure continual assessment of progress against plan and sustain momentum to meet objectives Proactively advance key firm priorities, identifying opportunities and thoughtfully proposing solutions and/or resources Uphold a \"one firm\" approach across the global marketplace Work with relevant experts to coordinate the preparation of visit materials; including regional, market, country, economic and financial analysis, client information, local office achievements and other relevant data Take ownership of post-trip deliverables and actionable feedback as assigned Domestic and international travel as needed Calendar management & anticipation Work closely with executive assistants and various firm leaders to ensure that leaders' calendar priorities are enumerated and communicated when appropriate Coordinate daily communications and calendars, prepare meeting schedules, agendas, materials and liaise with participants Develop and maintain operations and communications calendar for executive-level events, presentations and communications ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in professional services/consulting environment.Master's degree a plus but not required High level of professional maturity and integrity, demonstrable good judgment in sensitive and/or complex situations and unwavering discretion with confidential information, i.e. \"a vault\" Low ego, openness to feedback and commitment to excellence for excellence's sake Self-starter with a high level of initiative and a bias for action, eager to learn through hands-on hard work and adapting to new responsibilities, i.e. \"a doer\" Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through, bolstered by outstanding organizational, project and time management skills Excellent verbal and written business communication skills with extensive experience creating presentations Ability to forge strong relationships and inspire trust quickly, collaborative work style, persuasive and influential at the executive level, and proven ability to manage situations and/or events successfully across business units, levels and regions, i.e., \"high EQ\" Demonstrated ability to solve problems or propose solutions with creativity, innovation and confidence; ability to see opportunities within, and form structure out of, ambiguity Ability to work well under pressure, juggle tasks and work efficiently against deadlines Possesses a positive energy, sense of humor and confident, can-do attitude Proficiency in Microsoft Office with demonstrated expertise in PowerPoint and ExcelSalary Range: NAMinimum Qualification5 - 7 years
