(Long Island Federally Qualified Health Center or LIFQHC) has 5 health centers, providing primary care and preventative medicine in the following locations in Nassau County: Roosevelt, Elmont, Hempstead, Freeport, and New Cassel/Westbury. As a federally qualified center, we serve the individuals in our communities, providing enhanced services, expanded hours and reduced prescription pricing, while raising the level of care. We treat patients regardless of income, residency or immigration status.

REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer

Auditing Organization Compliance

Review the LIFQHC's business practices to ensure that they are following pertinent regulations.

Perform audits at appropriate intervals which include reviewing documentation and other records, as well as interviewing executives and employees. Audits include: billing, sliding fee scale, 340B

Compliance Issues

Identify what is needed to ensure compliance with appropriate policies and regulations, create plan to implement any needed changes.

Stay Abreast of Regulatory Changes

Stay up to date with any regulatory action relevant to our industry (Healthcare, Article 28, FQHC)


Bachelor's Degree preferred

Relevant experience in healthcare required, experience with regulations for Article 28 and federally qualified health centers preferred

Certification preferred

Able to work independently and manage workflows in a fast paced and highly confidential environment

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask
