The Global Privacy Compliance Office has an opportunity for an Executive Director for Governance and Oversight. Reporting to the firm?s Global Chief Privacy Officer, this role will lead the Global Privacy Office?s effort to exercise its governance and oversight responsibilities to ensure the Firm complies with requirements related to the protection of personal information (PI) and client confidential information (CCI).This role will developamorerobust,holisticandgloballyconsistentgovernance and oversight structure and facilitate engagement between the Global Privacy Office and LOBs and Corporate Functions Privacy Champions as well as LOB and regional compliance.Thepersonwillberesponsiblefor creating and managing engagement models addressing the involvement of privacy stakeholders and their respective roles and responsibilities. This person will beexpectedtoplayaprimaryleadershiproleby partnering with key stakeholders, such as Compliance Functions and Control Functions, inexecuting the goals and objectives oftheprivacy program. Other important responsibilities include the following.
Responsible for the privacy program governance, including operating models and engagement framework for Global Privacy Compliance, Regional/LOB Privacy Compliance, LOB and Corporate function Privacy Champions, and other key stakeholders.
Develop and manage privacy compliance reports and metrics for Firmwide committees and senior management.
Review and maintain external (public-facing) and internal (employee-facing) privacy policies and guidance materials and an internal repository documenting the Global Privacy Office?s clarifications and interpretations of its policies or guidance.
Support leadership team as they develop strategy for the use of personal information and client confidential information.
Together with Regulatory Learning, develop education and communication plans and content
Lead the Global Data Protection& Privacy Forum.
