Responsibilities: The role will focus on the following key areas: o Negotiate global, complex customer and vendor contracts, including, subscription, software licensing and services arrangements, as well as, partner and alliance agreements. o Act as an advisor to internal customers on a variety of legal matters. o Help enable the business to execute on commercial changes by understanding and providing guidance on relevant legal and compliance issues. o Aid in the adoption and execution of controls necessary to ensure compliance as an employer and third-party service provider, including drafting, reviewing, updating, and enforcing internal policies and procedures. o Drive intellectual property protection and enforcement, including copyrights, trade secrets, and patents, as applicable, as necessary. o Partner to manage vendor relationships and assist with building effective partnerships, while helping to lower costs and secure agreements. o Assist with litigation matters, as necessary. o Conduct research on a variety of legal issues and act as an expert on some key areas o Help address global employment matters in collaboration with Talent/Human Resources, including country-specific employment arrangements, proprietary rights protection, non-compete arrangements, immigration matters, employee grievances, and employment terminations. o Consistently ensure that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and core competencies Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience negotiating complex software as a service, software licensing, professional services, and/or other technology transactions is required. 4+ years of related experience is preferred. o Strong drafting skills. o Knowledge of federal, state and local laws. o Ability to work independently, while being a collaborative member of the team o Ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations. o Strong communication and interpersonal skills. o Strong customer orientation focus and success in creating a superior Customer Experience. o Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with the Management and Executive Team, and company employees. o Demonstrated success in displaying passion, drive, adaptability and innovation. o Ability to organize and manage multiple, and at times competing priorities. o Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems or resolve issues in a timely manner. o Proficient in the MS Office Suite o Ability to thrive in a fast paced, growing organization. o Strong track record of success in building solid working relationships within various areas/business functions of the company. Education/Certifications/Licenses Required o Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. o Membership in the State Bar as an attorney qualified to practice law in the State of NJ, or eligible to become licensed as in-house counsel.Salary Range: NAMinimum QualificationLess than 5 years
