Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in reading and drafting agreements, negotiating agreements, interpreting legal documents and working with attorneys to complete agreements.

  • Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree.
  • Technical experience with Internet technology and passion for protecting users and online safety.
  • Ability to make data based decisions on difficult policy enforcement situations and communicating such decisions to key stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously under tight deadlines with a sense of focus.
  • Ability to comfortably make tough decisions, balancing competing interests, negotiating with stakeholders and using creative problems-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership, management, communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment across multiple locations.

  • Responsabilities


  • Review and approve contract terms. Advise Business Development and Technology Management teams, as well as advise Legal on risks around product solutions and implementations with Google?s partners.
  • Own and lead all aspects of policy related contract functions, including contract template updates, escalations and documentation. Develop and manage project timelines for complex product policy launches, negotiate with stakeholders on needed resources and required milestones and ensure that launches are successfully executed.
  • Provide support and consultation to internal stakeholders on significant product updates and launches in order to ensure that emerging product launches are fully compliant with Google standard and practices.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders to ensure broad understanding of policy initiatives, including planning and executing outreach activities and providing executives with updates on critical initiatives impacting product policy.
