Growing Managed Care / PIP Auto Organization is seeking experienced professionals to join our team.PRIMARY FUNCTIONResponsible for recruitment and contracting of hospitals, specialists and ancillary providers into the network. This includes rate negotiation, processing of the credentialing application, and to serve as liaison between the providers and FMCO. Responsible for communication, and resolution of questions and issues between the provider and the Company.RESPONSIBILITIESRecruitmentIdentify and communicate with potential providers via telephone and email.Discuss and negotiate provider contract provisionsPerform negotiations of rates in accordance to FMCO policies.Maintain and update electronic log of potential providers current status in the recruitment process.Ensure that all documentation is completed to facilitate a smooth credentialing process.CredentialingDistribute, assist in completion and collect all credentialing materials.Support and facilitate the credentialing process; inform the provider of credentialing status.Provider RelationsIdentify and interact with potential providers and educate regarding FMCO policy and procedure.Act as a liaison between the providers and FMCO.Distribute and assist in completion of provider applications and contracts.Conduct on-site visits to provider locations, if necessary.Assist in the resolution of provider issues.Assist in provider education program.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLSBachelors degreeThree to five years of experience in provider contract negotiation of hospitals, specialists, and ancillary providers.Contracting in the Workers Compensation and auto markets in NJ preferred.Must exercise sound judgment and possess ability to work with minimum supervision.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent negotiation skills.Computer proficiency including Microsoft EXCEL and WORD.Ability to prioritize duties.First Managed Care Option, Inc., is an Equal Opportunity Employer and takes pride in maintaining a diverse environment.
