If you have enjoyed Pensions during your training contract and are looking for your first move post qualification, or are an experienced pensions lawyer looking for a new challenge or a move out of the City, you won't be disappointed in terms of high quality City level work in a friendly, pro-active team. You will be working along side approachable, enthusiastic Partner who is keen to grow the team at NQ -Senior Associate level, due to the amount of work coming in, this team is just going from strength to strength.
You will be dealing with a wide range of work including advising on a variety of pensions issues from risk reduction exercises (such as pension increases exchanges, buy-ins and buyouts and alternative funding arrangements) to advising pension schemes going through a Pension Protection Fund (\"PPF\") assessment period or an Administering Authority on matters relating to the Local Government Pension Scheme (\"LGPS\"). The team also have particular expertise in the pensions aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals, scheme mergers, insolvencies, restructuring and wind-ups. Acting on behalf of employers, trustees and representative beneficiaries on complex litigation claims, including professional negligence work and Part 8 claims, the work is both high quality and varied.
