About the Position: The Real Estate Coordinator will be a member of the development team and will work day-to-day with members of the Project Development, Legal and Project Finance teams supporting real estate development activities for a large portfolio of commercial photovoltaic solar projects. The successful candidate will be resourceful and driven to support numerous internal clients, with a focus on identifying and resolving obstacles to solar development. Position responsibilities will include but not be limited to :

Request quotes and order and track delivery of title reports

Track progress on title orders, surveys and other site due diligence

Identify, communicate and mitigate risks associated with real estate matters affecting greenfield development

Monitor and manage completion of real estate due diligence

Proactively develop and implement strategies to resolve identified title and survey issues

Work with Project Developers, Legal and third parties to resolve title issues

Track progress of clearing title exceptions and report to Project Development, Legal and Project Finance teams

Coordinate and procure crossing consents and crossing agreements with third parties

Coordinate and procure SNDAs with third party banks

Manage internal deadlines and negotiations with outside parties

Interface with landlords, government agencies, utility companies and banks

Record real estate documents in county registry/clerk offices

Coordinate execution and compilation of real estate documents internally and with landowners and banks.

Notarize documents as needed

Knowledge and Skills

Strong negotiation tactics and strategic negotiation style

Understands and has direct experience in real estate entitlement and development fundamentals

Work independently and effectively organize and prioritize multiple competing projects

Real estate development experience a plus, preferably in greenfield development and renewable energy

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional organizational and planning skills

Self-starter who initiates tasks proactively and can juggle competing deadlines

Experience reviewing, interpreting and resolving title issues
