New York City office of an AmLaw firm seeks mid-level labor and employment associate attorney with 4-5 years of experience in both employment-related litigation and transactional employment work. The candidate will advice and counseling; wage and hour audits; federal and state employment law research and analysis of complex issues; preparation of employment-related documents, such as employment and severance agreements, workplace policies and procedures, leaves of absence forms and letters, and employee communications. Should have experience of handling discrimination cases, wage and hour class actions and contract disputes in federal and state court and/or before administrative agencies such as the Department of Labor and humans rights agencies. Traditional labor law and experience conducting employment training is also desired. New York Bar admission is required. New Jersey/Pennsylvania/Connecticut Bar admissions are a plus.

Additional Skills: The candidate must be able to juggle multiple assignments, be strategic and detail-oriented, have a high sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize. Superior academic and writing credentials.
