Arizona Community Physicians is a successful physician owned medical group and we are seeking a talented Senior Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance team. We are looking to find a professional with experience in outpatient primary care who can contribute in growing our Compliance program.

This is a hands on administrative role that manages and performs a variety of compliance responsibilities.
Our Senior Compliance Specialist is an important part of our Compliance service delivery team in which we strive every day to bring valued service to our employees and patients.

As an individual and as part of a team, the Senior Compliance Specialist is an active contributor in the continuous development of our Compliance services.
This includes contributing ideas in how we can be more efficient and effective and performing well in the duties assigned.
The Senior Compliance Specialist performs responsibilities in support of ACP's compliance program.
Assists the Compliance Director in assessing risk by performing internal chart reviews of coding and documentation of all clinical providers, as well as risk areas identified by third party payers and/or identified in the OIG's Work Plan.
Performs in a professional manner, exercising good judgment and ethical standards. Interacts effectively and builds respectful working relationships across the organization. Demonstrates integrity by adhering to high standards of personal and professional conduct. Must be reliable and have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality within all aspects of job performance.
Required: A minimum of 5 years' experience coding outpatient primary care and medical specialty Evaluation/Management (E/M) services, Procedures, and Ancillary Outpatient Services, commonly performed in outpatient settings.
Must have AAPC or AHIMA professional services coding certification with a minimum 2-year healthcare related degree (e.g., nursing), or RHIT/RHIA.
Must have a thorough understanding of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 Coding proficiency, with experience in coding and auditing outpatient encounters and providing professional constructive feedback in regard to billing, coding, and documentation practices.
Must have exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Preferred: Healthcare Compliance, HIPAA Privacy, Risk Management and/or Heath Information Management experience.Arizona Daily Star.
